Luke Thomas Jones (born 22 July 1997) is a professional association footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Flint Town United. The youngster is a talented young player who has signed for Flint for the 2015/16 season. Jones has had spells at Everton, Aresnal, Wigan, Blackburn and Tranmere Rovers. Last year he played for CEFN Druids where Flint Town signed the youngster from. ==Career== Jones began his career as a trainee at Premier League side Everton FC, where he progressed through the various youth ranks and helped the youth team reach the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup in 2004. He captained the U9 side on their way to winning the Premier Academy League in 2006. Jones signed a 1 year contract with Wigan F.C. in February 2011 he made no appearances for the first team squad, Jones came on as a substitute for the U17 in a cup game vs Blackburn Rovers, Jones assisted the winning goal to ensure Wigan win the game by 2-1. Wigan went through to the next round. Wigan released Jones after his contract in January 2012. CEFN Druids picked the youngster up from a college game, Jones signed for the first team squad for the 2014/15 season. Jones followed CEFN Druids manager to Flint and signed a 2 year contract for them.
